Mardan (Special Correspondent): An awareness seminar focusing on women’s education, economic empowerment, and the promotion of hidden talents was organized under the auspices of The British School Mardan. A large number of teachers and female students participated in the event, while SP City Maria Mustafa attended as the chief guest.
Addressing the seminar, SP City Maria Mustafa said that women must be encouraged towards self-confidence in order to develop leadership qualities among them. She emphasized that providing equal opportunities in education and training to young girls is extremely important so they can play a vital role not only in the progress of their families but also in the development of society as a whole.
She further stated that introducing special seminars and awareness sessions for female students in educational institutions is aimed at creating awareness and confidence among women. Such initiatives, she said, include training in public speaking, decision-making, and team management skills, enabling women to contribute alongside men in the construction and progress of the country.
The seminar also highlighted the importance of equipping women with modern skills and encouraging them to actively participate in social, educational, and economic fields. Participants appreciated the initiative and termed it a positive step towards building a more inclusive and progressive society.
