*Political Activity Intensifies in Baltimore County; Strong Public Turnout at “Meet the Candidates” Forum*

(By our correspondent )
Political activity is gaining momentum in the U.S. state of Maryland, particularly in the city of Baltimore, where an important public forum titled “Meet the Candidates” was organized by the Baltimore County Muslim Council (BCMC).
The event was held at the Islamic Society of Baltimore and brought together candidates running for the Baltimore County Executive office. The forum aimed to inform the community about the candidates’ manifestos while also providing voters with an opportunity to directly engage and ask questions.
A large number of community members, social leaders, and voters attended the event, highlighting its significance and the growing political engagement within the local population.
On the occasion, Democratic leader Ayesha Khan, in an exclusive conversation with the media, emphasized the importance of such forums in the democratic process.
“These forums are a vital part of democracy, where people can directly question their representatives. Community participation in Baltimore County is stronger than ever, which is a very positive development,” she said.
She further noted that the active involvement of the Muslim community in the political process is making an impact not only at the local level but also at the state level.
“We want every citizen to effectively use their voice, and such platforms play a key role in promoting that objective,” she added.
The forum in Baltimore County reflects the growing importance of community-level dialogue and public participation in American politics. Such initiatives are expected to significantly influence voter decisions in the upcoming elections.
