Annual Prestigious Ceremony Held at The British School Mardan
Peshawer (. . . ): The British School Par Hoti Mardan organized its annual prestigious ceremony, which was attended by a large number of students, parents, and people from walks of life. Chairman Mardan Board, Professor Jahanzeb Khan, was the chief guest on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Professor Jahanzeb Khan said that both public and private educational institutions have always played a vital role in promoting quality education, and encouraging talented students is the need of the hour. He added that students are the bright future of the country, and their proper education and training is a collective responsibility.
He further stated that a child’s initial upbringing begins in the lap of parents; therefore, parents must pay special attention to the education and character-building of their children. The Chairman reiterated his commitment that eliminating cheating remains a top priority in the Mardan Board, and the “booti mafia” has been eradicated to ensure a transparent examination system.
The ceremony was also attended by CEO Sami-ur-Rehman, young industrialist Waseem-ur-Rehman, Fazal Rabee, senior journalist and General Secretary of Mardan Press Club Hidayat-ur-Rehman Hoti, Regional Manager of Oxford University Press Fazal Akbar Khan, and other distinguished guests. Professor Dr. Halima Ikram from Women University also attended and encouraged female students.
On this occasion, students presented colorful and impressive performances, which were highly appreciated by the audience. Prizes were distributed among position-holder students for their outstanding achievements.
School Principal Ms. Ghazala Inayat also addressed the ceremony and welcomed the guests. She highlighted the school’s academic activities and achievements. Ms. Tooba, Ms. Nadia, Project Manager Sarwat Akbar Khan, Imad, and other staff members were also present.
At the end of the ceremony, guests were thanked, and a commitment was expressed to continue such activities in the future to further improve educational standards.
